Needle Recommendation: US 10-11
Approximate Gauge: 4 sts per inch on a US 11
Classic Hank Yardage: 150 yards
Most notable yarns in this set: Adriafil, Bouton D'or, Bertague Filati, Gedifra, Berroco, Filatura di Crosa, Austermann, Madil, and Colinette.

Special Notes: Concord Grape consists mainly of very deep shades of purple with just a spattering of glitz, lash and shades of blue. It is the most delicate Yarn Stashio set ever created. A wonderful lace like effect could be achieved if Concord Grape was knit on a larger needle. The color just exudes Spring, making it a nice color for a transitional season shawl, wrap or poncho.

Needle Recommendation: US 13-15
Approximate Gauge: 2.5-3 sts per inch on US 13, 2- 2.5 sts per inch on US 15
Signature Scarf Yardage: 75 yds
Classic Hank Yardage: 150 yds
Most Notable Yarns: Gedifra, Colinette, Classic Eite, Online Linie, K1C2

Special Notes: This set is so incredible in person. It knit up even more beautifully than I imagined it would. It is a very limited edition of only five Signature Scarf Kits and four Classic Hanks. Moss Rose is a wonderful transitional color for Spring and yet warm enough for cooler nights or air conditioned buildings. If you were to take out the small amounts of hot pink, it would look like the Caribbean Sea! The Isosceles Wrap was knit on a US 15 needle using two Classic Hanks and can be seen in the Design Gallery.

Needle Recommendation: US 11-13
Approximate Gauge: 2.5 sts per inch on a US 11
Signature Scarf Yardage: 75 yards
Classic Hank Yardage: 150 yards
Designer Collection Yardage per Pound: 370-468 yards
Most Notable Yarns: Lorna's Laces, Colinette, Manos del Uruguay

Special Notes: This colorway has the most harmonious shades of purple possible with hints of glitz and silver. It has a lot of loft and could easily be knit on a larger needle. The Purple Mist "Runway Scarf" was knit with one strand of either Colinette Skye or Colinette Zanziba as a carry along yarn throughout to allow it to be knit on a US19 needle. This made Purple Mist into a super chunky winter weight that was perfect for even the coldest of winter days. The techique of adding a carry along yarn could easily be used with other colorways to increase the gauge.

Special Notes: Seagrass was inspired by the Jane Thornley Seagrass Capelet. The Designer Collection has sufficient yarn to make this capelet as well as several other items seen in the Design Gallery. Several of the yarns in Seagrass are the specific ones that Jane Thornley calls for in this design but many are YARN STASHIO original combinations of yarns that duplicate the colors and textures called for in this design. The Seagrass Evening Purse was knit on a US7 to achieve a tighter weave.

Most Notable Yarns: Colinette, Prism, Gedifra, Lana Grossa, Skacel, Online Linie, Katia, GGH, Anny Blatt, Aldemir, Schachenmayr, Southwest Trading Company

Special Notes: This colorway is truly unique. There are so many colors that in the Signaure Scarf and Classic Hank yarns there are virtually no color segments that repeat! When knit at a gauge of 3 sts per inch in a double seed stitch pattern the colors meld into a wonderful Tapestry. Hence, the name. Tapestry would be perfect for the "Runway Scarf" as well as several other YARN STASHIO Designs.
There will never be another color quite like Tapestry.
